Tariq Mehr

Tariq Mehr is a finance graduate and chartered accountancy finalist with over 12 years of experience in internal audit, compliance, and financial management. Tariq is a CA (Finalist) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and completed his CA (Inter) from the same institute in 2006.

He has expertise in internal control development, grant management, pre/post-award assessments, and various types of audits, including external, statutory, and forensic. His skills extend to accounting, financial reporting, sub-award management, partnership and procurement management, and capacity building.

Tariq excels in internal control assessments, audit planning, risk assessment, and executing audit plans, investigations, and reporting. He has a proven ability to develop systems, internal controls, policies, and procedure manuals, along with conducting organizational capacity assessments and system reviews. With strong knowledge of donor regulations—including USAID, EC, UN, The Global Fund, and DFID—he is well-versed in procurement, finance, grants, and auditing compliance.
