Dr Syed Shah Miran

Dr. Shah Miran is a distinguished public health professional with a strong academic foundation, holding an MSc in Healthcare Management from Manchester Business School, University of Manchester, UK (2006–2007), and an MBBS from Ayub Medical College, Abbottabad, Pakistan (1998–2004). He has extensive experience at both national and international levels, excelling in health program management from design to field-level implementation, leveraging best practices in health systems to tackle major health challenges. A significant part of Dr. Miran’s career has been devoted to Health System Strengthening (HSS), where he has made valuable contributions across HSS building blocks, including stewardship, service delivery, human resources for health, information systems, supply chain, and health financing, while incorporating key public health themes. His expertise spans the community, primary healthcare (PHC), secondary care, and broader health system levels.
